Y11 Celebrations at Liskeard School
On Friday 1st May, Year 11 marked an important milestone as they celebrated five years at Liskeard School, just days before beginning their GCSE examinations.
The day was filled with laughter, creativity and reflection. Students signed one another’s shirts, with many designing imaginative and colourful artwork on the back before the signing even began. These shirts will no doubt become treasured keepsakes, capturing friendships and memories from their time at school.
Celebrations commenced with an assembly, where photographs and memories from the past five years were shared. Year 11 students gave special performances at both the start and close of the assembly, making it a fitting and emotional tribute to all they have achieved so far.
Afterwards, there was time for photos, shirt signing and a well-earned ice cream in the sunshine, a perfect way to end a memorable day.
We are incredibly proud of Year 11 and all they have accomplished. Now, as they move forward to their GCSE exams, we wish them every success. You’ve got this!
