Welcoming Our New Year 7s: A Successful Induction Experience
Last week, we were delighted to welcome our new Year 7 cohort for September as they joined us for two action-packed Induction Days.
Across the two days, students had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their new school environment, meet their tutors and fellow tutor group members, and begin forming those all-important connections as they transition into secondary school life. They took part in team-building sessions led by our fantastic Sports Leaders, explored the layout of the school, and experienced taster lessons across a range of subjects.
Supporting them throughout were our brilliant Peer Mentors, who played a vital role in helping students feel comfortable and confident—and who will continue to support them when they return in September.
We also thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many Parents and Carers during the Induction Evening. Thank you to all who attended and helped make the event such a success.
We’re very much looking forward to seeing our new Year 7 students again on Tuesday 2nd September for their first official day of secondary school. We can’t wait to begin this exciting new chapter together!
