Liskeard School & Community College Supports Teacher Nathan Hayes in His Epic Charity Bike Ride

Liskeard School & Community College proudly stands behind one of its own, Nathan Hayes, as he embarks on an extraordinary mission to raise funds for a noble cause. Nathan, a dedicated teacher at the school, will be participating in the highly anticipated Ride for Precious Lives charity bike ride taking place this July.

The Ride for Precious Lives is a unique cycling challenge that spans an impressive 225 miles over the course of three days. The event aims to raise funds and awareness for the charity, Precious Lives, which focuses on providing care and support for children facing life-limiting conditions.

Nathan, will be cycling from St Austell to Bristol, tackling challenging terrains and breath-taking landscapes along the way. As part of the journey, he will visit three remarkable children's hospices: Charlton Farm, Little Bridge House, and Little Harbour. Accompanying Nathan on this incredible endeavour will be 116 other participants, including his close friend and spin coach, Matt Ishtarr.

Driven by his own personal journey, Nathan, who used to be a professional basketball player, has recently rekindled his passion for fitness. When presented with the opportunity to participate in this life-changing event, he immediately seized it as a chance to make a significant difference.

As Nathan prepares for his first-ever charity event, he humbly invites the community to join him in supporting this remarkable cause. Contributions can be made to Nathan's JustGiving page, where every donation, regardless of size, will directly impact the lives of children and their families who are in need of hope, comfort, and care.
