Dear parents and families
Excellent expectations
I am so pleased to see how polite, sensible and caring our students are as they interact with each other every day. We are proud of working together to build a culture of high expectations and high success! Thank you for your support, and please feel free to book an appointment for a tour of the school. Every day is an open day.
End of term
The last day of term is 15th December, which will be a half day. Students should attend school at normal time and attend tutor time and lessons one and two as normal. Food will be served at morning break. There will be a farewell tutor time at 12:05 and students will be dismissed at 12:30. Students return to school on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024.
Volunteer Readers
Do you have a few hours a week to spare? Would you like to help students improve their reading? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for volunteers to listen to students read with special needs who are in our Area Resource Centre. All volunteers would be subject to a DBS check and training will be provided. Please contact wbirkbeck@liskeard.net if you would like to know more.
