Liskeard Sixth Form Students Bake Up a Storm for Macmillan
Students and staff at Liskeard School & Community College's Sixth Form came together to host a cake sale in support of Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
The event, organised by Sixth Form students, saw a spectacular array of homemade bakes donated by students and staff alike. From towering sponges to chocolate traybakes and brownies, the cake table proved a huge hit with everyone who stopped by.
Thanks to the generosity of all who baked, bought and volunteered, the event raised an impressive £261 for Macmillan. The money raised will help the charity continue its vital work providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support to people living with cancer and their families.
The cake sale is a wonderful example of the Sixth Form's commitment to giving back and bringing the school community together for a cause that touches so many lives.
