New Headteacher Appointed for Liskeard School & Community College
Liskeard School & Community College is delighted to announce the appointment of Tamsin Summers as the school's new Headteacher, taking up the role in January 2027.
The appointment follows a recruitment process held at the end of the summer term. Tamsin is an experienced senior leader with a strong track record in school improvement, and has built a career supporting the learning and development of young people across the South West.
Speaking on the appointment, current Headteacher Dan Wendon said the school and wider Trust community were delighted to welcome Tamsin to the role, and highlighted her track record and commitment to the region's young people.
Tamsin said she was delighted to have been selected as the next Headteacher of Liskeard School and Community College, and is looking forward to working closely with staff, students, parents and the wider community to build on the excellent work already taking place at the school.
Mr Wendon will work closely with Tamsin over the coming months to ensure a smooth and successful transition ahead of her start date.
