Liskeard Sixth Form Students celebrate A-Level and Vocational success!

Students at Liskeard Sixth Form have excelled themselves and achieved a strong set of results across the curriculum this year, achieving the best set of results overall in the last four years.

Our Sixth Form students have worked hard and their effort and determination has been rewarded! We have seen examples of students achieving the highest possible grades in both academic and vocational subjects which put their achievements on par with the very best schools and students around the country.

We are thrilled to be sending students on their way to places in higher education and especially pleased that so many have gained their desired places on degree courses, apprenticeships, further training and employment.

Headteacher Dan Wendon said, ‘I am so pleased to see the success of our students this year. A successful local Sixth Form is crucial to the ongoing strength of our local community and so I am delighted that this set of results represents the best overall grades achieved in recent years. This really shows the ambition for excellence shared by staff and students.’

Head of Sixth Form Aly Boniface said, ‘Our students have produced the strongest set of results Liskeard Sixth Form has seen in since COVID, and they have done it right across the curriculum. What is particularly pleasing is that more students have reached the grades they needed than in any recent year. That is often the harder thing to achieve. A huge well done to the students and a huge thank you to the families who supported and backed these students throughout their time at Liskeard Sixth Form.’

We are so grateful to our whole school community - to parents, families and staff for their amazing support and are privileged to be part of the next chapter of these students' journeys, wherever that may take them.

Our Sixth Form is growing! If you are interested in being part of our journey of success, enrolment begins on Thursday 20th August. You can enquire in person at school on the day or email enquiries@liskeard.net for more information.
