Uniform and equipment reminders for September 2026

Dear Parent / Carer

To help support a successful start back to school in September, below is a reminder of the school’s uniform, appearance and equipment expectations. Please ensure your child is in correct uniform at the start of the year and has the required equipment. Uniform:
  • Black Blazer
  • Black Jumper: optional. A plain, black, v-neck jumper can be worn underneath a blazer.
  • Pale Blue Shirt: short or long sleeved with a top button.
  • Tie: Red tie for Years 7 – 10 / blue tie for Year 11.
  • Black Liskeard logo Skirt: These can also be purchased from our local suppliers, Glynn Valley and Gilberts Outfitters.
  • Black Trousers: smart, black trousers only; not jeans or leggings.
  • Black Socks
  • School shoes: Flat, plain black leather type polishable shoes (no canvas shoes or boots). Plain black leather type trainers are allowed.

Jewellery: Please note that jewellery is not to be worn in school, apart from one pair of plain gold or silver studs worn one in each earlobe. Please ensure any new piercings are done at the start of the summer holidays to allow time for them to heal and be removed for school. Any piercings other than the single pair of studs in each earlobe will need to be removed in school (nose rings for example).

Nail varnish and acrylic nails: These are not permitted in school. Please ensure that these are corrected or removed prior to the start of the new school year.

Hair of unnatural colour and extreme hairstyles: These are not allowed in school. Please ensure hairstyles are in line with these expectations at the start of the new school year.

Equipment:

A reminder that students should also bring the following items to school every day, so they are prepared for learning:

  • A clear pencil case
  • Writing Pen
  • Purple ‘DIT’ pen
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Rubber
  • Sharpener
  • CASIO FX-83GT CW or CASIO FX-85GT CW calculator
  • 2 x Highlighters
  • Glue Stick
  • White board pen. *New item* All students will be provided with a white board pen in September, but this item should be supplied by parent/carers moving forwards. We are adding this item because we are now asking students to use mini-whiteboards in most lessons and this will help them to access these as quickly and efficiently as possible.
