Year 11 Claim Victory in Annual Football Match
The annual Year 10 vs Year 11 Football Match took place over the lunchtime break in glorious sunshine, attracting hundreds of students who gathered to cheer on both teams.
The Year 11 side, managed by Mr Daymond, went into the match as favourites, but they faced a talented and determined Year 10 team led by Mr Glasgow. Both teams produced an entertaining contest, demonstrating excellent skill, determination and teamwork throughout.
Played at a high intensity from the first whistle to the last, the match was also a great example of fair play and sportsmanship, with both teams competing in the right spirit.
After an exciting encounter, the Year 11 team secured a well-earned 3–1 victory. Despite being on the losing side, Isaac from Year 10 delivered an outstanding individual performance and was deservedly named Player of the Match.
Congratulations to all of the players, managers and supporters who helped make this year's match another memorable occasion. The match was a fantastic celebration of football, teamwork and our school community, and we look forward to the next Year 10 vs Year 11 clash.
