Summer Concert

As the sun shone on a beautiful July evening, Liskeard School was alive with music, energy, and celebration! Our Summer Concert, held on 3rd July 2025, was a joyful showcase of the outstanding musical talent that continues to flourish within our school community.

The New Hall buzzed with anticipation and was filled with a warm and supportive audience. From the very first note, it was clear that the evening would be something special. A fantastic variety of ensembles and soloists took to the stage, performing a diverse and exciting repertoire that had something for everyone.

We were thrilled to welcome back our outgoing Year 11 and Year 13 students for one final performance, while also celebrating the fresh talent of our Year 7 musicians, many of whom were performing in their very first school concert. The blend of experience and new energy made for a truly memorable evening.

A massive thank-you goes to Mr Vincent, Mr Bond, and Mr Zalick for their unwavering dedication to the Music Department. The evening’s success was also made possible by the incredible efforts of staff across the school – whether performing, running refreshments, capturing photos, setting up equipment, or supporting behind the scenes. It was a shining example of what can be achieved through teamwork and shared passion.

We can’t wait to do it all again at our Christmas Concert in December – another chance to celebrate the talent, creativity, and hard work of our amazing students.

Wishing everyone a restful, musical, and well-deserved summer break.
Thank you for your continued support!
