πΆ Music Day 2025 πΆ

On Wednesday 2nd July, Mr Vincent’s music classroom came alive with the sound of music, energy, and creativity as students from across the school came together to celebrate Music Day 2025.
Held throughout the school day, the event gave students the chance to perform in a relaxed and supportive setting, with a small audience made up of their peers and fellow performers. We were even thrilled to welcome back some of our Year 11 and Year 13 students, who returned to take part in the occasion.
The performances were wonderfully varied – including rock guitarists, pianists, solo singers, a girl band, the Music Academy on steel pans, a rock band, and more. Some students showcased original compositions, while others delivered clever mash-ups and reimagined versions of popular film themes.
For many, this was their first time performing in front of an audience – just weeks into learning an instrument or finding their voice. For others, it was another exciting chapter in their musical journey. Everyone was cheered on by their peers and supported by staff, creating an atmosphere full of encouragement and positivity.
Mr Vincent’s classroom truly transformed into a stage of confidence, talent, and expression – and it was a brilliant day that captured the joy of ‘just having a go’. πΆπ€πΈ
