Planned use of funding

  1. Prior Attainment (£3756)

    Targeted students in Years 12 & 13 yet to secure Grade 4 or above to receive additional small group tuition (< 7 students) in English and Maths GCSE using existing teachers from our English and Maths faculties.

    Additional Maths & English Tuition Costs:

    Maths: 2 hours per week x 32 weeks x £43.41 (UPS3 teacher hourly rate inc on-costs) = £2778.24

    English: 1 hour per week x 30 weeks x £30.95 (M3 teacher hourly rate inc on-posts) = £928.50

    Total: £3706.74

    Contingency: £49.26
     
  2. Economic Disadvantage (£2817)

    Targeted students in Year 13 (from an economically disadvantaged background) who are in need of catch-up support to receive additional tuition in A Level Science and Maths from existing A Level Maths and Science teachers.

    Additional Maths and Science A Level Tuition Costs:

    Maths: 1 hour per week x 28 weeks x £43.41 (UPS3 teacher hourly rate inc on-costs) = £1215.48

    Science: 1 hour per week x 28 weeks x £43.41 (UPS3 teacher hourly rate inc on-costs) = £1215.48

    Total: £2430.96

    Contingency: £386.04 for pre-exam revision sessions
