Dear parents, carers and families
It has been a fantastic, busy term which has seen an impressive dedication to learning, extra-curricular activity and community spirit by our amazing students. Thank you to all parents, carers and families who have attended some of the many events we have hosted at school this term. I have been delighted to meet and talk with so many of you and I always welcome any parent to meet with me and tour the school. We are so proud of our school community. Please see a number of updates and important dates:
Non-Uniform Day
Our school council have chosen three charities that the school will support this year. These are: Cornwall Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK and Project 3580, a charity working to support education in Sierra Leone. We will be having a non-uniform day at school to raise money for Cornwall Air Ambulance tomorrow, 28th March. Students are encouraged to bring at least £1 to contribute to this local charity.
Term Dates
8th March – last day of Spring term (normal school finish time)
15th April – return to school after Easter holiday
24th May – break up for May half-term
3rd June – return to school after May half-term
Year 11 Easter Revision Sessions
We are running a number of revision sessions over Easter – please contact enquiries@liskeard.net to find out the timings of sessions.
Excellent Attendance
Attendance matters! We want everyone to maximise their success by attending school every day - one day missed is 5 hours of learning time. If there is anything we can do to support your child’s attendance, please get in touch with us by emailing attendance@liskeard.net.
